I've checked all the moderation queues and administrative stuff. It all looks good.

So I've now assumed your permissions and I'm using this post to test those and see if it logs me out....

Everything seemed to be fine with the posting. I had no logout issues or anything.

I'll have to wait to see if Bill can find something on the back end. It might be that we have to clear the database of your session/log in information and see if that does it. But I don't have direct access to that side...grrr....

I have to press the submit button twice on each post for it to appear. First time, the screen just scrolls up, then on second attempt, it posts.

Edit: Except for this one, of course...

This may happen if someone posts in the same thread as you're replying but didn't show when you started writing your answer. It will show you new posts you couldn't see pop up and more than once will help you save the face and your geek cred'. It's an excellent feature of phpbb.

If that's the case, it's an annoying feature...

Check the URL. Most likely the URL at the top does NOT say "therpghaven", but "thegameballista" ("gamingballista"?). That's what the site used to be called. Some of the links/markers (email inks, etc) still reference gamingballista URLs. Check that at the top. If you see "Ballista", change the URL to therpghaven and you'll be fine.

Yeah, the exact behavior you describe is exactly what you see under this condition. I did it myself this AM after following a link sent to me by the Notify featyre.

Brilliant.

I checked the cookie/server/etc. settings, and they seemed OK...but something seemed to tickle the few brain cells I have left.

I'll do a test as well.

I just tried (it's www.gameballista.com for the curious) and it seems to do the described behavior.

That doesn't mean it's the issue - only that it's one possible explanation.

Thanks Mr. K!

Balb? Any luck?

IE's what work gives me, at home I use Firefox, but I rarely post from home.
