My first outside playtester, with an Actual Play
A while back I posted this:
Quote:
...as we were already sitting in the floor with my dice I came up with a system on the fly. Here's what we came up with.

Stats
Knight (Doing knightly, non-fighty stuff: riding, wooing damsels, court etiquette)
Fight (should be obvious, right)
Mind (finding clues, solving puzzles, playing chess)

Boon (One thing you're really good at)
Doom (One thing that is your weakness or that will cause you trouble)

To resolve conflicts, roll 3d6 and add a stat and Boon when appropriate. If you roll 10 or better you succeed.
In opposed conflict, compare rolls. If All succeed, the highest roll gets advantage. If one succeeded and one failed, the failed loses a point of the stat. When a stat is zeroed out, you lose the conflict.

Paul made Sir Edward of the Forest, a knight of the round table
Knight 1
Fight 2
Mind 3

Boon Sword-fighting
Doom Water

So today on Google+ a guy was looking for a game to try with his young daughter and I pointed him to the post. He played it and it sounds fantastic!

Here's the thread on G+
