How are you playing with Rob Conley and Bill whats-his-name...

...and how come I'm not invited? Is it because I don't bring snacks?

Because it's just for friends, see, Jim...

Nah seriously now! :D The subject just popped on the delver's dungeon one day and Rob said he was a playtester, and that we could try the thing if we wanted to. We signed NDAs and stuff, and got the group rolling like that. We play with skype and fantasy grounds. I could ask Rob and the others if you want to be in? (assuming he doesn't see that thread before) You'd probably (still) have to sign an NDA though.

Otherwise, yeah, it's going great. We're having fun together, even without the snacks. It's good ambiance, relaxed, we pop some jokes and whatnot, a little bit of role playing here and there (last game the clerics were forced to tie up my wizard to be able to destroy a summoning circle uninterrupted, and then proceeded under the curses and whining of said wizard. That was funny).

The rules are alright, though as you might imagine we have our issues with some stuff (like at will magic missile, way too many hit points in the game, healing surges/dice BS and entire recovery of hit points in a long rest ... HUH...).

Yeah..they are...

It's just that between Bene and Mr. C there are two people right there that I've seen a lot of evidence our preferences align in many ways...so it would be a game I'd love to try...

...and it looks like I might get a chance...fingers are crossed...

I have little hope that it will achieve its objectives. :snooty:

But I would love to be proven wrong.

There was a dust here a while ago about the order of importance of things. Now even though people left the site over whether or not food should be at the top of that list, one thing was fairly clear...everyone seemed to agree that that the remainder of the order went People...and then other stuff....

I'm in it for the people...

:D

Well, without people it is kind of hard to play tabletop RPGs. :P
