Post [Metamorphosis Alpha] The House On The Hill
This week I am sorting things out on Amazon's CreateSpace to finish up my long-delayed adventure for Metamorphosis Alpha.

There's about 22 pages of adventure, with the remaining pages being used to help people generate their own versions (lots and lots of random tables) and gaming tips for running adventures in the same building by Jim Ward himself :)
I have found making the choice between Lulu and CreateSpace difficult, with the final choice coming down to distribution (of all things!).

Two of the best lessons that I have learned from this experience:

1. Find good play testers and keep them - same with proof readers :)
2. A good play tester does not necessarily make a good proof reader, but there are exceptions :)

Which version of MA is this for?

Can you tell us a little more about it?

I sure can!

Back in 1976, Jim Ward published the original MA game. On page 27 of that book was the Round House Modular Dwelling Unit (RHMDU), which has been used for over 30 years to run adventures on the fly for MA. This booklet details one version of the RHMDU which can end in a number of ways, but introduces the unit and the technology found in one of these places and shows how a full adventure (for an evening's play) can be run using just the one small building.

Jim has used the building since day dot for conventions and the like and he was planning on using this adventure at the next Con that he attends (TBA - He's been pretty sick lately :( )

I've also added tables to allow GMs to create their own RHMDU on the fly, or to use for ideas for their own adventures elsewhere.

Jim has included a couple of pages of material for scenarios he has run previously using the RHMDU, which will also be of value to MA GMs.

I forgot to mention that this version is for MA1e, or easily converted to MA2e. We may even do a version for MA5e, pending what SignalFire Studios has to say.
