You should put more work into it. Just doesn't seem like you've given it that much thought.

Re: Commentary on The Gateway City
I am actually revising some more areas. I am going to break that thread up so that I have each section in it's own post. Which I think will make it easier to read, and edit.

Yeah, that's a good idea.

Re: Commentary on The Gateway City
I'd love to. I'll say this...the amount of work and background on that is really quite impressive. It's that kind of effort that makes me stop every time I think about how much I should do for setting...
I wish I knew more about Shadowrun to be able to comment...I could really use a group to teach me... heh...

Re: Commentary on The Gateway City
Oddly enough I know of a group who plays a regular game of Shadowrun 4...

Re: Commentary on The Gateway City
I also don't have a background in Shadowrun, but I'm impressed with your organization. I think presenting the information in multiple posts was wise.
Is that setting information given to the players as background information before making characters and starting your campaign?

Re: Commentary on The Gateway City
Thanks, i agree. I started out having it one large post, but i figured for my players to easily reference sections, and to facilitate er updates I'd break it up. Everything in the post is setting material given to the players. Everything there is public knowledge, or pretty close to it. Engine was nice enough to set up a Google Group as an email server, and I gave them all the hyperlink to both threads. Hell in theory they could post to this thread and add any questions, comments or requests.
