I've owned the book and PDFs since they were released and never got a chance to play. I'd love to give it a shot!

Holy crap - Facebook!

I think this is correct:

1. A wandering Excorist, severe, who accepts no payment for his services but who lusts after carnal congress.
2. A bandit captain, in hiding, with her trusted bodyguard
3. A note written in elegant hand, sweetly perfumed, and the child messenger bearing it.
4. A simple insult, casually inflicted, striking very, very deep.

Thanks, Jim. I used FB because it was the simplest way to send you the jpgs.

What we do now is to read through the entries to find characters. For instance, the exorcist is clearly a character, and so is the bandit captain. Everybody feel free to chime in.

To make it clearer, we look not only for explicit characters, but implied ones. For example, the exorcist implies demons, right? So it's possible that a demon could be a character. And who or what is delivering the simple insult? And are there other bandits with the captain and her bodyguard?

To put it all in one post:

Elements: A wandering exorcist, severe, who accepts no payment for his services but who lusts after carnal congress; a bandit captain, in hiding, with her trusted bodyguard; a note written in an elegant hand, sweetly perfumed, and the child messenger bearing it; a simple insult, casually inflicted, striking very, very deep.

Characters: the wandering exorcist; a demon or demons; a woman connected to the exorcist; the bandit captain, the bodyguard, and any individual bandit; the person/people hunting the bandit; the writer of the note; an alchemist specialising in unique perfumes; the child messenger; a chaperon or protector of the child; the deliverer of the insult; any individual person of the region.

The exorcist's squeeze of the moment (or past squeezes, perhaps one who wants a refund)
Whomever the bandit captain in hiding from.
The child may be accompanied by a chaperon.
An alchemist who specializes in unique perfumes (connected to the note).

Is that going too far?

I would be good with the Bandit Captains bodyguard....helping her in hiding...part of a group of warriors picked to protect the woman captain; men who had to become eunuchs to do so but did so because of the great prestige involved in becoming one of these personal body guards.

Or is that too much?
